Asaf Cidon, VP of Email Security at Barracuda will talk about machine learning’s promise and limitations. Attendees will learn how new technologies can simplify the task of spotting suspicious activity or malicious campaigns.
About our Speaker: Asaf Cidon
Asaf Cidon is Vice President, Email Security at Barracuda Networks, where he co-leads the email security team. He is responsible for driving Barracuda’s next generation content security and fraud detection solutions, leveraging machine learning. Asaf was previously the CEO and co-founder of Sookasa, a cloud storage security startup that was acquired by Barracuda. Previously, Asaf completed his PhD at Stanford, where his research focused on cloud storage reliability and performance. He also previously worked as a researcher in Google’s web search engineering team. Asaf holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford, and BSc in Computer Engineering Cum Laude from the Technion. He is a recipient of SC’s 2017 Rising Star award. His work has been featured in numerous publications, such as NBC, NYTimes and Forbes.
